At what point in our society did it become a cultural norm to not be in good health??
So many people come to me stating that their doctor is telling them that there is nothing wrong with them after doing a multitude of tests and yet they still feel like something isn't right. They are exhausted, they get stomach pains often, they can't seem to drop any weight no matter what they do, they feel like they are just unwell but don't know what to do.
Over the years as the standard of our general population gets more and more sick, they medical community keeps broadening what they consider "normal". Here is the thing, many doctors won't do anything about it for you until it is really bad, like now you have a diagnosis and perhaps require pharmaceuticals.
Here is an example: In a screening test for thyroid, TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone)
We need to bring focus on Optimal Ranges not the Normal Ranges, this is where health happens. When you are outside of this range you can, in most situations, very easily correct this imbalance before you hit the RED ZONE, often with somewhat easy shifts in habits. However once you hit the red zone it may require more effort and though there is still lots we can do to improve your health, however my goal is to help you take the easy route and change the direction of your future health before you hit the red zone!
